Roxann Lewis grew up in the Clear Lake area, and along with her spouse Kevin have raised their family in this area. Roxann became active in politics after a challenge by a liberal college professor at the University of Texas. She began block walking and phone banking in Harris County in the 80’s, and after moving to League City in 2004; she began service in Galveston County. Some of the roles she has play include:
- Board of Clear Creek Republican Women since 2008 and is serving out her second year as Club President in 2022.
- She has served on the board of the Republican Network
- Served as Executive Director of the Galveston County Republican Party
- Precinct chair in the past and is currently serving her second term as precinct chair
- Election Judge for the past 5 years
- Worked on the Resolution Ballot Board for numerous elections
- Has worked as a poll watcher for several campaigns
- Volunteer Coordinator for the Texas Federation of Republican Women’s convention
- Sargent at Arms for the Texas Federation of Republican Women’s convention
- Hospitality Chair for the Greater Houston Council of Federated Republican Women
- Served on the Texas Strike Force in Ohio
- Served as Auction Chair for the Lincoln Reagan Dinner
- Served as Temporary Chair for the SD11 Convention
- Served as Campaign Coordinator for a Congressional Campaign
- Currently serves on the board of the Helen Hall Library in League City
- Currently serves as Vice-Chair of the League City Sunset Commission
- Attended the Texas Federation of Republican Women convention over 10 years
- Attended the Republican Party of Texas State Conventions for over 10 years
- Attended the Republican National Convention as an At-Large Alternate
- Currently serving as Secretary for the Galveston County Republican Party
