H Scott Apley, Vice Chairman
Scott is originally from Katy Texas where he graduated from Mayde Creek High School. After graduation, he went on to study History and Secondary Education at Sam Houston State University. Scott moved to Galveston County in 2010 and he and his wife Melissa currently reside in Dickinson. He has worked for Ryder Truck Rental as a Logistics Manager in the Houston market for the past 7 years. In addition to serving at the party’s Vice Chairman, Scott is the current Senate District 11 Chairman for Galveston County. In the past Scott has served as an Executive Board member for the Texas Young Republican Federation as well as it’s Southeast Texas Regional Direction. In 2015, Scott was a delegate to the National Young Republican Federation Convention in Chicago, IL. Scott has been a delegate to the past 3 RPT State Conventions. In both 2016 and 2014, Scott was appointed to the RPT State Convention’s Platform Committee as the Representative for Senate District 11. He has worked on several local, state and national campaigns including Mitt Romney, Alan West and Greg Abbott as well as local Republicans like Michelle Slaughter and Mayes Middleton. Scott is currently a candidate for Dickinson City Council for the upcoming May 4th Election. Scott is ready for 2020 and to make sure that we re-elect President Donald Trump and score Republican victories up and down the ballot.
