Now Hiring Block Walkers

Galveston County Republican Party today announced that they are currently hiring Block Walkers to Get Out the Vote for the November Election.

Block Walkers will go door to door in various parts of Galveston County with information for Voters.

They will be organized into groups for safety and have targeted areas.

Groups will walk Saturdays in September and October for 6 hour shifts.

The position pays $10.00 a hour.

Block Walking

Chris Lane is coordinating our Block walking!

There are block walks daily from 10 to 7or Chris can meet you to work a specific area.
Starting this week, every Saturday, block walking will consist of 4 shifts (10-2, 12-2, 2-4, 4-6).
Please do not hesitate to give Chris a call (409)392-6167. He is willing to create a custom made schedule to suit the needs of our volunteers and will get you set up on your cell phone with Advantage software which is being used to visit the appropriate houses. This is good way to get an entire club out to walk!

Convention Hotel Reservations

The current plan is for hotel registration for the convention to be opened next Wednesday, April 18th for all delegates, alternates, and guests. The registration process will include the ability to reserve your hotel rooms in the room blocks we’ve been holding for you.

Grassroots Club members get a head start — rooms will be released to GRC members 48 hrs in advance on Monday, April 16th.
