In accordance with Article VI, Section 3 of the Galveston County Republican Party Bylaws, the undersigned Precinct Chairs, representing at least 25% of the current Executive Committee membership, do hereby call for an Emergency Special Meeting of the Galveston County Executive Committee.  An Emergency Meeting requires a two day notice compared to a regular meeting which requires a fourteen day notice.

Stated Emergency:

a.  The regular 14 day notice for a special meeting would be later the 2020 Primary Election Filing deadline of December 9^th, 2019.  This meeting has a significant impact on that filing deadline and any resolution would need to be taken prior to that date.

b.  The subject matter of the meeting could have a dramatic negative impact of the reputation of the GCRP and its efforts in 2020 to get our Republican Candidates elected.
